Brief History of the FAAGB CHORAL GROUP

The FAAGB Choir was founded and organized at the residence of Carmen Gose during a Christmas party in 1990. Rosine N. Aguirre has served as the piano accompanist since the choir’s inception. Cesar Guevara served as the first Choral Director. He was followed by Dr. R.V. Baylon, Bryan Ocfemia, and Marcie  Braden.

The FAAGB Choir performed regularly at social events held by the Association and caroled during the holiday season for Filipino-American families. Funds raised by the carolers served as the organization’s largest source of revenue for many years.

Today, the FAAGB Choir continues to perform traditional Filipino songs at the Association’s social events and Christmas carols throughout the community under the leadership of Mila Veluz. Anyone interested in joining our choir, please be sure to contact us.
